Felting needle is the production of non-woven fabric special needling needle, the needle body into three edges, each edge is a peak, the hook has 2-3 hook teaeth. It is very important to determine the shape, number and arrangement of the hook spines on the edge of the working section, as well as the length, depth, height and lower cutting Angle of the hook spines. Commonly used felting needles each edge with three hook thorns, in some special use of backcloth materials, only on one or two edges with hook thorns. The direction of the bending handle can be left or right to protect the bottom cloth material lengthwise or laterally and minimize the damage. The direction of the felting needle depends on the position of the edge of the hook.

The working part of non-woven needle has a gradual process from the tip up, and its barb also has a gradual process from small to large from tip to end. The design allows the needle to puncture the mesh more easily. Felting needles are mainly used in the manufacture of fabrics with high needle-breaking rate. The fabrics are mostly made of renewable or natural fibers such as cotton, flax and jute. However, this stitch is not suitable for all situations, as it may contain large needle holes on the surface of the fabric.

After installation and debugging, the felting needle production line must be maintained in strict accordance with its necessary maintenance procedures when it is put into production. The following points need to be done:
1. All the oil filling points of the equipment must be filled with oil, lubricating oil or grease regularly according to the requirements of their parts.
2. the sealing parts (wearing parts) must be checked every day, such as damaged immediately replace.
3. Check the chamber body protection plate every day, and replace it immediately if it is damaged.
4. Check the protection plate, blade, impeller, directional sleeve and shot parting wheel of shot blasting device twice every shift, and replace it immediately if it is damaged.
5. The electrical system should be checked twice.
6. Check all transmission parts twice a week.
7. The operator should check the cleaning effect at any time. If there is any abnormality, the machine should be shut down immediately and the whole equipment should be inspected.
